 THE DEER" S SLEEP " "             

"A STORY ABOUT THE HOLY PROPHET         MOHAMMAD"S(p.b.u.h.)LIFE"

THE PROPHET OF MERCY--

That day with the holy prophet (peace be upon him ) and some of his followers went on a way . I saw something away ; the hunter"s eye is strong . It seemed a shadow under the tree .

Getting nearer, I saw a yellowish thing .

I knew that flocks of deers before sunrise or sunset come to the fields near the villages .

Coming closer , I saw a head of deer . The animal was sleeping with open mouth and closed eyes .

I said to myself ," I"ll hunt deer . I "ll invite the holy prophet ( p.b.u.h.) and followers to a delicious food . Deer has delicious meat ."

It made my mouth water . I could make whatever I wanted from deer"s skin .

I signed to my friends to be quiet . All stopped and became quiet . Then I showed the deer to the holy prophet ( p.b.u.h.) .

The deer was asleep . I stepped? one foot and I wanted to shoot an arrowbut … the holy prophet (p.b.u.h ) held my hand quietly . He signed to everybody to be quiet . But not for hunting deer .

The holy prophet (p.b.u.h. ) quietly said , " Everyone mustn"t disturb this animal"s sleep . "

I said quietly , " Deer"s sleep ? " And I looked up in surprise .

Realy , I became ashamed .

The holy prophet (p.b.u.h. ) got everyone to pass away the deer very quietly and smoothly , he didn"t want anybody to disturb " the deer"s sleep " .
